Happy thought: Hot Tubs!

This post will be short because it is 12:10am and I just got home from an amazing workout so I'm pretty exhausted. I did the eliptical, the stair machine, and finished it off with a nap in the hot tub. Seriously though, I wish hot tub beds were doable, I could totally sleep in one all night long.

Thought of the Day: Electronic Mail

I love how advanced our generation is in. . . basically everything. One of the smartest and most amazing things are emails! Person one is in one place in the world, while person two is thousands of miles away from person one. But even though they're so far apart, person one can write to person two and they'll receive it the second they are finished! How awesome is that??
But what're the cons to emails? I can only think of one. Emails are not personal. No matter how personal you try to make them, a genuine hand written letter will always be more personal. Oh and everyone loves receiving letters, am I right? Everyone gets emails so there's nothing too special about it. But special people get letters!
So if you ever have to make a decision between sending someone an email or sending them a letter, my advice is go with the letter. Letters make people happier than emails do. They may take a few extra days, but isn't it worth it? Seeing that familiar handwriting makes me smile bigger than reading something that's typed. I receive emails from everyone, but letters, I get from special people.

Happy Thought: Cupcakes!

I don't know anyone that can eat a cupcake and not be filled with happiness! Aren't cupcakes the best? Whether they're chocolate, white, big, small, over cooked or under cooked, they are always good!

The best part of a cupcake is the frosting, am I right? I love to just lick the frosting off the top and then eat the cake. Ooooo the way the frosting melts in your mouth, all that sugar, oh baby I can never have enough frosting!

My sister told me today that there is a certain way to eat cupcakes. Really! She saw it on TV. And brace yourselves, all though this is pretty smart I still think my way is the best way. But I still want to share this bit of info with you. So here are the steps to eating a cupcake:
  1. You know the top part of the cupcake that has all that delicious frosting on it? The part that's bigger than the rest of the cupcake? Yeah, that part. Rip it off!
  2. Now take the bottom part of the cupcake, turn it upsidedown, and slap it onto the top, the frosting.
  3. So now you should have kind of a cupcake sandwich. It should go, cake, frosting, cake. Okey doke, so now that you have a cupcake sandwich, you eat it like a sandwich! Pretty smart right?

So there you go! The official way to eat a cupcake! But, in my opinion, licking the frosting off first is still the best way to eat one!

Why in the World?

Why is my blog titled Two Whole Years?
I am a young girl waiting very patiently for an LDS missionary. We dated for two years before his mission and we are honestly so in love. He knows how to make me smile, how to make me cry, how to make me laugh, and how to make me do whatever he wants. ;)

Why am I creating this blog?
Everyone knows that having a missionary is not the easiest thing in the world. It's full of tears, anger, sadness, and misery. But it's also full of love and happiness. Now, the happiness part is a little difficult to have all the time, so in attempt to make myself the happiest I can be while he's gone, I have decided to make a "Positive Blog." I will try my hardest to not allow myself to post anything negative at this point. I will become my happiest self.

Who am I?
I am a 20 year old girl who loves her missionary. I work in a child center and a classroom of autistic children. I am currently going to school to become an elementary teacher. Some of my favorites include: colorful tights, making watches, writing, and watching movies.

What about the missionary?
My missionary is serving all the way in Paraguay! He has been out for two and a half months, so only 21 and a half more to go! He is an amazing person who I know is an amazing missionary. His mission area is very poor and Spanish speaking, exactly what he wanted. When he gets home he's going to go to school to become a doctor. He loves music, making people laugh, drawing squid, and Star Wars.

How awkward is this?
I always have a hard time getting to the conclusions... I'll just awkwardly end now by saying this:

I love my missionary.
